C'est la parole de Dieu *african accent*

Bonjour ma famille!!!!

This week was good! although, I don't really remember it, but we did a lot of good things.
Friday we went on another exchange cause the stls wanted to. So i was with soeur asay again but this time soeur bernhisel and we were all in Antony! soeur dechesne went with soeur defranchi (who is French also) in Nogent. so the Americans were together and les francaises were together. But we had a fun time.
today i did my legality! and it worked this time!!!! so I'm legal again! it was scary going 6 days after my visa expired... but that was the prefectures fault, i should have gotten it in time. But dont worry its all taken care of.
Other than that I'm doing great! don't know how to feel about leaving a ville after 7 1/2 months. I'm excited but sad. its even weirder that I'm probably going to my last ville before i go home... Even weirder. I still feel like its forever away, but in two weeks I have 4 months left. so yeah time flies by fast. Did I mention that a year ago last week was when i first got into France and got my trainer? I'm the same age she was in the mission when she trained me! all weird thoughts.
So yeah this Saturday I find out where I'm going to next! so we'll see!
But anyway have a great week! love you all!
Bisous!

Hermanas Hermanas!

Hey family!

This week was great! But what happened? I think a lot of good things and miracles.

Okay so Tuesday we had zone conference! It was really good!  Our president started a new way of zone conference. It was just basically practice teaching in front of the two zones. Luckily we didn't have to teach. I'm all for practice teaching, but not in front of a big chunk of the mission and president and Soeur babin.

Then Wednesday we went to the embassy! And guess what? Soeur dechesne was the only one that got to enter the gate! They told us we could wait for her in the park across the street. So we actually didn't get to walk on u.s. Soil :(

So then this week was a week of miracles!

Thursday we saw Brigitte for the first time in like 2 months! And we asked if she had been praying since the last time and she said YES! (She never keeps her commitments). And she had read the chapter we gave her. Then we taught about the importance of church praying and reading. And she said that when she gets back from vacation she'll come to church at least three times to find out if it's the true church. Then she said she'd take her Book of Mormon on vacation and read every day, and she said she'd continue to pray each day! Seriously came out of no where!

Friday we did planning and then had a few  hours for contacting. So I felt we should go to a certain vile. So we get there and there's no one because it was raining and constantly thundering over our heads. So we contact maybe two people in 4 blocks... So we decide to turn back and go closer to Paris where there was better weather. So we literally had just turned around when we hear "Hermanas, Hermanas!" And suddenly there's a man there speaking Spanish to us. I think he asked if one of us spoke Spanish so sr. Bernhisel and I point directly to sr. Dechesne (did I mention she speaks fluent Spanish). So anyway she talks to him and found out that he was a member and was searching for the church so we gave him the address and he said he'd come Sunday! So that was why we needed to be there that night. Also the rest of the night so. Bernhisel tried to practice her Spanish with sr. Dechesne. I didn't understand any of it. But I spent the rest of my time perfecting my street contact. I now know how to say "hello, my name is sister farmer and I'm from the United States and I know that God loves us". So yeah, that's it... But I'm very proud for learning it

So then Saturday we had a rdv with haibo (Chinese ami) who I haven't seen since like April. We got a hold of her this past week. And we had a rdv with her and her daughter. Okay, so that was another surprising change. Her seven year old  daughter used to be super rude and bossy to her mom! Like not to be rude, but she was a brat. So it was impossible to teach them because the daughter didn't like talking about religious things. But we asked her if she prayed and she said that her daughter prayed more than she did! And her daughter actually stayed calm during the lesson. Oh my goodness it's a miracle what a little time can do for an ami!

So that was our marvelous week! I loved it! I'm starting to realize that I'm almost done here in Antony and I suddenly don't want to go because I'm seeing all these miracles happen with all my old Amis! I love the gospel, no matter what it's always true!

Have a great week! Je vous aime! Gros bisous!

It was a week

Hey this week was a weird week! Each day blends one into another! This whole week was basically finding and it was really good! I don't know what else to say.
we visited tahitian members that are here in france for medical reasons. so that was really nice. i really miss my tahitians!

went to sacre coeur again... it was good. not much to say necessarily.

Also on a side note our zone leader got called as assistant half way through the transfer. because one assistant is going home in like 2 weeks. its so weird. so it basically means that now there's only me and an elder in his 3 transfer that have been in the ville more that 3 weeks... so that's fun!
really i have nothing else to say. our week was just contacting.
I got to go to interviews with president! So have a great week! Love you!

1. was contacting sunday night and just came across a view of the Eiffel Tower :)

2. was really close to a smaller but still big airport south of paris. The planes were barely right above us. It reminded me of hearing all the planes back at home :)

Marriages...

Well sounds like everyone had a great weekend at the family reunion. Sad I missed it, but on the bright side that was the last of the family reunions I'll miss!

But hey JULIA'S ENGAGED!!!!!!! I'm so happy i don't even know what to say! And i also found out that Ben, Syveah and now Kaitlin are engaged? That's awesome! Do I get pictures?

Anyway, my week was great! It went by so fast! Don't even know how, but Monday we went to the louvre, we saw everything that I had already seen... But we did go see the Egyptian section, which I hadn't seen before. It was cool! We also ran into 3 member families.

Tuesday I had my tb test and I don't have it! The doctor was very shocked that they had me come in because apparently the elder became contagious in April, and the last time I saw him was mid March...

And then Tuesday and Wednesday I went on exchanges in nogent with soeur asay! She's awesome! First of all she was best friends before the mission with my trainer. So super cool. but we taught a Romanian family and the 9 yr old boy was adorable! His names Brian and I'm so sad that i'll never see him again :(
after that it was a good week! Lots of contacting and that's about it! Marie is progressing so well! we had planned to teach the restoration in 2 lessons just to help with her comprehension. However we were able to teach all of it in one lesson and she understood it!!!!
So yeah good week! I love you all and miss you so much!!!! have a great week! Bisous

Slow and Fast‏

This week went super fast and super slow!

So first half went by fast. We celebrated edna's birthday!!!!! It was perfect! She cried when we gave her her bday present... I love her!!!!!!

Sent soeur hales off and then got soeur bernhisel! And then it went slow. I think it has to do with the fact that we were visiting everyone before soeur hales left.... Also everyone's on vacation. So like we did a lot of finding.

Which believe it or not, I missed! We've been so busy impairs area that I haven't done some solid finding. But we did it. So yeah that's been about our week. Soeur dechesne finally got a rdv with the u.s. embassy for August 7th! Which means, I GET TO STAND ON U.S. SOIL! Just you know a little excited about that!

So kinda a funny story.... Wednesday I get a call from some clinic office saying I need to be tested for tuberculosis, I was super confused... So then they explained that someone in my entourage has had it recently and I need to be tested for it but it's free. Then I remember hearing that elder perry, my district leader from 4 transfers ago just got it. So I set a rdv, and then called the mission nurse. Sure enough anyone that had contact with him in the past 6 months has to be tested... So I thought that I should be fine.

But wait it gets better! So that same day (literally 2 hours later) Edna calls and said that she had gotten an email from soeur tehoiri saying that she has tuberculosis.... But she doesnt. she's going to be tested tomorrow. But my rdv at the doctors is for Tuesday, so we'll see then. Edna got the shot on Friday so she'll be getting the results sometime today...

Really hope I don't have it, cause that's just super annoying and bad because I also live with 4 other soeur and let's not even think about how many people I come in contact each day.

I love you all! Have a great week!

Surprise surprise!!!!!

Hey so transfers....
So I'm staying in Antony! So I'll be staying for 7 1/2 months (5 transfers). And you'll never guess who my new companion is... So soeur dechesne is staying obviously till she gets her visa, but soeur hales replacement is.... Soeur Bernhisel my MTC companion, so weird!
okay so i'm excited to stay for different reasons, but i'm also a little upset because i feel like i've been here forever. Also Paris is so fast paced, and i'm constantly exhausted, so i would have loved to have a smaller slow paced ville.

But what's done is done and i'm looking forward to the next six weeks!
But besides that this week was good! Our amazing ami Marie is back on the face of the earth. We had set a baptismal date with her 6 weeks ago and then she accepted to be a nanny for a family 24/7 so we had to drop the date. But last week was her first week back after the job and we reset a date with her! She'll be baptized September 6th which is actually the Sunday after transfers when I'll officially leave Antony. But that's OK, she's awesome and her desire to be baptized has grown even more since she's been gone!!
So that was pretty much my week.
Don't know how to feel about sending soeur hales home... With soeur t it was hard because we had been together for 3 transfers. With soeur hales its hard because 1 transfer wasnt enough! We get along so well and I loved being with her. Its just not fair that we only got 6 weeks (and they were super fast weeks)
Today for pday we went UP l'Arc de Triomphe! so that was super fun and cool!!!!!

Well I hope you all have an awesome week! I love you all!

Legality week‏

hey so this week was interesting. so the reason why I call it Legality week:
first off for my year mark on the mission we did my legality! So we show up and apparently a bunch of others from my group decide to do the same thing... But anyway, get there and realized that i didn't print out one of the documents... So one missionary tells me i should go up say i have all the papers i can get a number. Then in the hour that I have waiting for the number to be called, run get the paper from the mission office. So I get up and the guy gives me a mail in application. So I didnt have to worry about not having the paper. SO anyway, I hope the mail in process is as fast as just doing it the day of.
On the other hand, we also spend a good amount of time each day doing soeur dechesnes legality... We don't even know how to apply for an american visa and the office doesnt either. They just give us the documents and we have to figure it out for ourselves... which is why we spent so much time on it because it took 4 try's before we got the online application right. can I just say i'm so grateful to be a U.S. Citizen and will never have to apply for an American Visa
So that pretty much sums up our week. obviously we taught Amis, but we barely even had time to see them with all the legality we did.
But on the bright side (Or sad side, it just depends on which way you want to take it)... I HIT MY YEAR MARK!!!! So so weird. To celebrate it, we went to consecration hill, which is where they took us our first day in France to fix goals for our mission. So so cool. And obviously I took cute little photos! (See below)
Bonne semaine et calins et gros gros bisous!!!!!
